Originally, the wax resist dyed fabrics came from Indonesia which were then exported to the Gold Coast and spread over West Africa into Central Africa. They became extremely popular and over time the Africans customised and personalised the designs. Nowadays they have strong cultural, social and economic importance. Wax fabric designs are popular in Africa and Europe; however, the fabric’s popularity is notable around the world. Middlesex Textiles are proud to offer an extensive range of prints to our clients which consist of various styles and textures of prints otherwise known as Wax Prints, Woodin Prints, Super Java prints, Ankara and Super Wax Prints.
Middlesex Textiles does not sell or ship any of our range of various Wax Prints found on this website to the Netherlands.
